As the official feeder program for our junior high and high school teams, we're committed to three core goals:

3rd to 6th Grade Teams:
We offer a structured program for children in grades 3 through 6, from the basics to advanced techniques. Each team is designed to cater to the developmental needs of its age group, ensuring a positive and productive experience for all.

We are a Volunteer Run Program
Our organization is 100% volunteer run. We rely on our parents/families to help in this effort in order to keep costs down for our players/cheerleaders. All parents are required to complete ONE volunteer shift per family during the season. This shift is in our concession stand. The shift is typically the length of one game. These are only for home games and are split between football and cheer families. A sign up will be sent out prior to the season starting.
New for 2026 - Volunteer Buyout Option
Starting with the 2026 season, we will be offering a volunteer buyout option. If you know you will not be able to volunteer for a shift during the season, you can choose to pay $40 extra during registration. This option is only available at the time of registration. If you do not select the buyout option, it is assumed you will be completing one volunteer shift.

2026 Football Registration: $225 (Game Jersey to Keep, HS Summer Camp)
Register for the 2026 Waynesville Youth Football season with a one-time fee of $225, which includes a custom game jersey yours to keep after the season and registration for the mandatory high school summer football camp. This comprehensive fee ensures participation in the league and covers event costs such as field rental, insurance, referees, etc. WYFCA provides essential equipment including helmet, shoulder pads, and practice jersey. Players are required to purchase football pants (black), cleats, and a mouthpiece separately. WYFCA will have black pants available for purchase (optional) at a discounted rate to use for practice and/or games.

Join the 2026 Waynesville Youth Cheerleading season with a registration fee of $100. This fee includes a Friday t-shirt and shorts, bows, cheer camp/camp t-shirt and equipment fees.
Additional items to purchase include: uniform, shoes, midriff, briefs, wind suit and backpack.

Additional Uniform Costs:
Uniform can be used for multiple seasons as long as it fits properly and is in good condition. Shoes, wind suit, mock neck and briefs are all mandatory items but can also be kept for multiple seasons.
Uniform: $100 new/ $30 used
Shoes: $60
Wind suit jacket: $60
Wind suit pants: $35
Mock neck: $25
Brief: $15
Backpack (optional): $50
Important Dates:

Uniform Buy Back: May 17 3-4pm
New starting in 2026 - if you are a 6th grader leaving our program or you are a current youth cheerleader needing a different size uniform, you can sell back your uniform (in good condition - approved by cheer board) and we can resell it.
Uniform Fittings: May 17 5-7pm
At uniform fittings you will be able to order a uniform (new or used), spanks, midriff, shoes and wind suit. Your child will have to have all items to be able to cheer. There will also be additional items for sale such as backpacks, key chains, spirit wear, etc.
Cheer Camp: July 20-22 9-11am
High school led cheer camp includes learning most/all of the cheers, chants, fight song, halftime dance and quarter cheers.
First Practice: July 30 5:30-7pm
Practices are every Thursday from July 30-September 24
Picture Day: Weekend of Aug 1-2
First Game: Weekend of Aug 15-16
